Album Info:The mainline between Spartanburg, SC and Asheville, NC runs right behind the house I grew up in. Although the famous Saluda Grade portion of that line is closed now, we do still get one local a day out of Hayne Yard. Sigsbee is at MP 62 and where I grew up. It's only at this time of year with the long days that one can see this local during daylight. It holds a special place in my heart.

If Only This Were SR
Title:  If Only This Were SR
Description:  For me, this could only be better if it were a Southern Railway SD45 or SD40-2 running long hood forward. I sure miss that SR emblem! Too bad these guys aren't heading to Melrose to start "tripling the hill".
